IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man will spend 42 months to fifteen years in jail after resisting arrest for a stolen car, then tried to flee from police whereas being despatched to the hospital for a supposed medical emergency.

District Decide Christopher Ninomiya handed down the jail time period Jan. 22 to 33-year-old Tylor Johnson in Dickinson County Circuit Courtroom.

In response to the legal grievance, the Iron Mountain Police Division Oct. 20 discovered Johnson with a car reported as stolen. However Johnson refused the officers’ instructions and resisted arrest. Then when taken to Marshfield Medical Middle-Dickinson, Johnson grabbed an officer’s Taser.
