A 13-year-old metropolis boy was in custody Friday morning after he stole a Kia Sorento from town’s East Finish about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, metropolis police stated.
When stealing the SUV from the 1100 block of Grove Avenue, the boy hit two-three parked automobiles, police stated.
The Kia was recovered within the 1900 block of Apple Avenue – between Dewey Avenue and Race Avenue – within the metropolis’s Newberry neighborhood about 10 a.m. Friday. The juvenile, whose title was not launched due to his age, was quickly situated close by and brought to police headquarters. He was turned over to juvenile probation officers to face felony costs in juvenile courtroom.
