Abandoned Car Leads to Rescue of Dementia Patient Behind Hartland High School

A 92-year-old Flint man with dementia is hospitalized with hypothermia at Hurley Hospital, after his automotive was found in a grassy space behind Hartland Excessive Faculty Saturday morning, with the doorways open and windshield wipers on.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Workplace reviews a Hartland couple found the automotive whereas on their morning stroll and known as 911.

Deputies, together with Hartland Fireplace, found the person in a swampy space.

Additional Investigation revealed the male had been reported as a lacking dementia affected person to Michigan State Police – Flint earlier within the morning.
