A 22-year-old man who was injured Nov. 30 in a car crash has died, according to Arlington police.
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30in the 2800 block of West Division Street, police said in Wednesday news release.
The 22-year-old was a passenger in a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette that was traveling in the westbound lanes of West Division, according to the release.
Investigators determined the driver of the Corvette lost control of the car due to the roads being wet and began sliding into the eastbound lanes, where it crashed into a 2020 Toyota Tacoma.
Both the passenger and driver of the Corvette were transported to the hospital. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Tacoma was not seriously injured, according to the release.
Police are reviewing evidence to determine whether road conditions was the sole factor for the crash. This is an ongoing investigation.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once the next of kin has been notified.
The identities of the two drivers were not released by police.
