The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a semi truck and a Buick Enclave Wednesday on U.S. Freeway 59 and Windstar Road.
MARSHALL — Not less than one individual was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi truck Wednesday on U.S. Freeway 59, the Minnesota State Patrol stated.
A 2-year-old baby was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Heart with non life-threatening accidents, the State Patrol stated.
Details about the standing of different passengers and drivers within the crash wouldn’t be launched till late Wednesday evening, the State Patrol stated.
The crash was reported at 11:43 a.m. Wednesday at Freeway 59 and Windstar Road in Marshall. On the time of the crash, a 2011 Peterbilt semi truck pushed by an Appleton man, 36, was southbound on Freeway 59, and a 2012 Buick Enclave pushed by a Tracy man, 36, was northbound. The automobiles collided within the intersection of Freeway 59 and Windstar, the State Patrol stated.
The State Patrol reported {that a} passenger within the Buick, a 2-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening accidents. A State Patrol media launch stated there have been two different passengers within the Buick, a 36-year-old Tracy girl and a 3-year-old baby. Nonetheless, data on the names of the drivers and passengers concerned within the crash, and whether or not they have been injured, had not been launched as of Wednesday afternoon.
Marshall Police, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Workplace, and Marshall Hearth and Ambulance all responded on the crash scene.
