A Seminole County lady was arrested Thursday, accused of leaving two youngsters in her automobile whereas she spent practically an hour stealing from a neighborhood Goal retailer.

Two Seminole County deputies responded to the Goal on Lake Mary Blvd. in Lake Mary simply after 5 p.m. Thursday to research a shoplifting report.
A retailer worker pointed the responding deputies in the direction of 31-year-old Latasha Brooks, who the worker acknowledged from earlier thefts on the retailer.

Deputies have been advised Brooks had entered the shop with one baby however left two others in her automobile within the parking zone.
The worker advised deputies Brooks was seen placing gadgets in her cart from the toddler attire, leisure, and grocery departments, then going to the self-checkout part the place she scanned some gadgets however didn’t scan others.

The Goal employee advised deputies Brooks then walked in the direction of the doorway with out trying to pay for the opposite gadgets within the cart, valued at a complete of roughly $260.
About 45 minutes after getting into the shop, deputies say Brooks tried to depart however was stopped by the Goal worker.

One of many responding deputies checked Brooks’ automobile, which wasn’t operating, and located two kids inside ready for her to depart the shop.
Brooks was arrested and charged with two counts of kid neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and petty theft. She has since been launched on a complete of $5,000 bond.
