Oct 17 (Reuters) – The U.S. auto regulator on Tuesday mentioned Tesla (TSLA.O) will recall 54,676 Mannequin X autos manufactured between 2021-2023, because the automobile controller is more likely to fail to detect low brake fluid and never show a warning gentle.
Tesla has launched an over-the-air (OTA) software program replace, freed from cost, to repair the problem, the Nationwide Freeway and Site visitors Security Administration (NHSTA) mentioned.
The electrical automobile maker isn’t conscious of any crashes, accidents or deaths which may be associated to this situation as of Oct. 10, the regulator added.
Tesla didn’t instantly reply to Reuters’ request for remark.
In August, NHTSA opened an investigation into 280,000 new Tesla Mannequin 3 and Mannequin Y autos over reviews of lack of steering management and energy steering.
