Cadillac is getting into electric vehicles, but for now, it’s making most of its money with gasoline-only SUVs. The Escalade remains the largest – and likely still the most familiar name – while my ride, the next-step-down midsize 2023 Cadillac XT6, is the only other Caddy that can handle a crowd with three rows of seats.
Unlike the Escalade, which is body-on-frame, the XT6 is a unibody that shares its basic chassis platform with the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. This Cadillac was an all-new model for 2020, and so is basically unchanged for this year.
