The 2023 Toyota Crown Platinum ($59,990 in Canada, $52,350 in the US) is the first Crown to be sold on North American shores after a long hiatus that stretches back to the early 70’s. Powered by a hybrid AWD system called HYBRID MAX, the 2.4L turbo Platinum trim Crown is capable of an estimated 340 horsepower and 400 lb ft of torque. But don’t let the respectable power numbers fool you. The Crown aims to provide a comfortable and quiet cabin for its passengers, while also being mindful of fuel efficiency.
