The 2024 Ford Bronco 4WD makes a lot of sense for Australia, yet it’s still not on sale here, despite being designed and engineered in Victoria. In fact, the same Blue Oval team was responsible for developing the current-generation Ford Ranger pick-up and Everest SUV.
So, what gives? Well, the Bronco is manufactured in America, where it’s proving to be too damn popular thanks its combination of tough 4×4 styling and genuine off-road capability, putting the heat well and truly on the incumbent Jeep Wrangler.
But in this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Ottley travels to the United States to put the new Bronco Heritage Edition EcoBoost through its paces on its ‘home’ soil to see if Ford Australia really move mountains and sell it Down Under.
