Is this the best looking hatchback on the market today?
I reckon it’s up there, with the Cupra Leon offering a nice blend of conventional classy lines, sharp edges and some daring elements, too. It looks great inside, too, with lots of features and technology.
It might share plenty with the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, but this car walks its own path, with a choice of powertrains like that in the GTI, Golf R and even a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version, as tested here.
It’s a worthy adversary for the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla when it comes to practicality, and it’s also sportier than some takes on the Hyundai i30 (inc i30 N) and Kia Cerato (inc Cerato GT).
So, is there anything it doesn’t do well? Watch my video. The complaints are very few, here. But you’ve gotta be able to afford it…!
