One of the questions we get asked the most at Electrifying.com is what seven seat electric cars do you recommend? Until now we’ve only been able to suggest the van-like Citroen e-Berlingo, the lacklustre and surprisingly small Mercedes EQB or theTesla Model X, which tops £100,000 and is impossible to get hold of.
So while the EV9 may be the most expensive car Kia has built, there’s a great opportunity here for the Korean brand if they get the EV9 right – and from our first look at a pre-production car it seems like they are.
Kia has transformed itself over the past decade from a budget brand to a one able to take on the premium players and the EV9 stands out against the large premium cars from the likes of BMW and Audi, thanks to its fresh modern look and a high quality interior.
