Yes, this is really happening!
Mat’s got his hands on the brand-new Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E Performance ahead of this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix, and he’s giving us a first-look at Mercedes’ challenger for the 2022 F1 Season!
Let’s take a look at the stats. This W13 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo V6 hybrid engine that produces a whopping 1,000hp and can do 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds!! As well as being completely different to last year’s W12 thanks to the 2022 rule changes, with only two parts being carried over from the 2021 car, this W13 is also 43kg heavier than the W12, weighing in at 795kg… which is still half the weight of an AMG A45 S!
