At the very least 103 individuals have been killed by two bomb explosions close to the tomb of Iranian common Qasem Soleimani on the fourth anniversary of his assassination by the US, Iran’s state media report.
State broadcaster Irib mentioned dozens extra individuals have been wounded when the blasts hit a procession close to the Saheb al-Zaman mosque within the southern metropolis of Kerman.
It cited Kerman’s deputy governor as saying it was a “terrorist assault”.
It was not clear who was behind the explosions and there have been no speedy claims from any teams.
