Greater than 1,100 individuals have died after the Hamas militant group launched a shock assault on Israel over the weekend. Iranian officers helped Hamas plan the assault, giving a green-light to the assault at a gathering in Beirut on Monday, based on senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah.
