Let’s be honest, pretty things sell. With that in mind Mazda could easily have gotten away with a small CUV that was “all show and no go” but instead the CX-50 is a solid buy in nearly every way. Sure, there are complaints to be found. The 6-speed automatic is yesterday’s news and the promised hybrid is still missing in action, but the CX-50 makes up for that with standard AWD, stout power figures, an attractive interior, and strong value when comparing feature-for-feature with the competition.
