A male transient was crossing the road when he was hit and killed by the truck driver. The motive force stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police.

Synopsis:
A male pedestrian was crossing 700 Camino de la Reina, strolling northbound whereas pushing a procuring cart. The pedestrian was crossing the road mid-block and was not in a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian walked straight into the trail of a 27-year-old male driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The pedestrian sustained main head trauma and was pronounced deceased on the scene. S.D.P.D. Site visitors Division responded and is dealing with the investigation.
