When Rolls-Royce does luxury, it typically does it right – but what about electric cars? Well, the luxury brand’s first EV, the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre, is finally here to answer that very question.
Now, this isn’t a Phantom EV. Instead, it’s a spiritual successor to the Wraith, in the sense that it’s also a two-door coupe – and a very large one at that. But it doesn’t have Rolls-Royce’s signature V12 engine under the bonnet. That said, its zero-emissions powertrain still packs plenty of punchy and driving range.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Corby heads to the UK to test the Spectre ahead of customer deliveries starting in late 2023. But the question remains, is it any good? Watch this video to find out.
