Detailed review of the 2023 BMW XM, including the plug-in hybrid V8 engine, ride quality, handling, interior and practicality.
The BMW XM was one of BMW M’s elaborate 50th birthday presents to itself, alongside the M3 Touring, M4 CSL, new M2 and the 3.0 CSL. But of that group, despite being the main bespoke M product, the XM is way too compromised for us to recommend at this price.
If you want a more practical BMW M car, check out the M3 Touring – our review is forthcoming, and that car rights many of these wrongs.
